The New Zealand group Fletcher Challenge becomes a shareholder of PISA and carries out a capital increase with forestry assets.

Papeles Bio Bio is built by the CMPC group (Chile), located in San Pedro de la Paz, about 500 kilometers
south of the capital, Santiago.

Modernization of the Pisa factory for packaging production and the Arapoti unit with the installation of the Speed Sizer in the third quarter.
Closing of activities at the Bío Bío plant in the first quarter of the year.

Papeles Bio Bio is sold to the Fletcher Challenge group (New Zealand).

After 23 months of construction, the PISA factory goes into operation, controlled by the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo.

The mother plant of Arapoti, a pioneer in the manufacture of
papers in Arapoti.
The Fletcher Challenger Group was acquired by Norske Skog, from Norway.
2001
Papeles Bio Bio becomes a shareholder in PISA (49%).
2013

Papeles BioBio is acquired by the consortium of Chilean investors, Inversiones
BO/Inversions Pathfinder .
2014
PISA becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chilean group Papeles Bío Bío.
Papeles Bio Bio buys from the Swedish-Finnish manufacturer Stora Enso its entire stake in the Arapoti plant, formerly Inpacel.
2016
Inpacel opens more modern facilities in the city of Arapoti.

The Norske Skog group acquires the paper operations of Fletcher Challenge and the shares of the newspaper O Estado de São Paulo and takes control of the operations of Pisa.
