The Arapoti factory started operations in 1925, symbolically recognized as the unit that made the evolution to the current industrial park possible, which started production in 1992 with one of the most modern facilities in the paper industry in Latin America.

Currently, the unit has an installed capacity of 150,000 t/year of paper and 60,000 t/year of thermomechanical pulp (TMP) on the market, produced in a manufacturing park of

79,000 m².

BO Paper is a pioneer in the production of low grammage Coated Papers based on High Performance Pulp and is committed to the Integrated Management System in its unit of manufacture and sale of thermomechanical pulp and papers.

It is the leader in the Latin American publishing paper market, offering a broad portfolio of printing and writing products and a line of Specialty Papers for the Self-Adhesive and Flexible Packaging markets.

 

Certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CERFLOR and FSC®, it operates in a sustainable manner in its operations and also in the development of socio-environmental management in the region with its suppliers and employees.

The PISA factory has been operating since 1984 in Jaguariaíva and is located 30 kilometers from BO Paper Arapoti, exploring synergies with the group's other industrial unit in Paraná.

It is the largest producer of newsprint in Latin America (the only producer in Brazil) and meets the demands of the printing and publishing market in the region. It operates strongly in the Brazilian market and also distributes its products to markets such as Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, the United States, Central America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Certified by FSC®, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, it operates with operational and socio-environmental excellence, being recognized as one of the most efficient plants in the production of newsprint in the world.

The factory operates with an installed capacity of 150,000 t/year of paper, specialized in the production of newsprint, also including in its portfolio of high-yield pulp-based packaging paper, offering high performance and quality of its products and services, seeking to combine the sustainability of its operations at the highest technological levels in the industry, meeting governmental and market requirements with socio-environmental efficiency.
