Care begins in industrial processes, when wood from responsible forests is debarked and its fibers are separated by a basically thermomechanical method, with minimal use of chemical treatment.

Wood residues are used in boilers as fuel for energy generation. And gaseous emissions from industry meet the limits required by environmental legislation.

In another step, the effluents pass through a high-efficiency biological treatment plant. This allows the water used in the production of paper and pulp to return to the rivers at a point prior to capture, with a quality above that required by legislation.

Concerned with environmental preservation, the BO Paper Group still protects the fauna and native vegetation on its lands. The Group has prevention and control programs for possible and eventual environmental impacts resulting from its manufacturing activities.
SYSTEM MANAGEMENT INTEGRATED
Grupo BO Paper has a policy of respect for the environment at each stage of production, based on the Integrated Management System, known as (SGI).
A benchmark for the best practices in the global market, the SGI encompasses the requirements defined by international management standards, which focus on quality, environmental protection, occupational safety and health, in addition to social responsibility. All employees, suppliers, service providers and customers are involved.
